Fracht Logistics Limited a subsidiary of Fracht (UK) Limited, which is led by Chairman, Paul Carlile, has acquired the assets and trade of Drac Logistics freight forwarding business. The transaction will provide continuity to customers whilst securing the long-term future of the company and preserving freight forwarding jobs in the company.
Drac Logistics, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Stone, has a longstanding reputation in the freight forwarding market, spanning 17 years, and offers domestic and international supply chain solutions. Operating across England and Scotland, its services span air, road, rail, and sea freight, European groupage, and worldwide customs and clearance services.
Fracht Group is a Swiss-domiciled, international freight forwarder and industry leader in comprehensive logistics solutions. Founded in 1955 by Mr Rudolf Reisdorf, the independent and family-owned business has a global presence spanning more than 150 offices in 50+ countries.
As part of the wider Fracht family of businesses, Fracht Logistics Limited will have access to a substantial network of global offices and the financial backing of the wider group. This will enable the company to deliver exceptional service to customers and enable the business to develop its service offering moving forward.
