We are a multi-award-winning firm and one of the largest independent and fastest-growing M&A advisory teams based in the Midlands, advising owner-managed businesses and private equity on a range of transactions including strategic trade sales, private equity investment, and management buy-outs.
Given the recent investment in the business and the team, which has resulted in increased deal flow and activity, we continue to invest in our business, including the Nottingham office and are looking for a personable, commercial and highly-driven qualified accountant to join our growing team.
The role
Opportunity to join one of the leading, independent M&A teams in the region at a genuinely exciting stage of its growth. You will:
- Gain exposure to the full deal cycle — from origination through to completion — across a wide range of sectors and transaction types
- Accelerated training and career development working directly with hands-on partners from day one
- Play a key part in building out our growing Nottingham presence as deal flow and activity continues to increase
About you
- ACA or CA qualified, preferably trained at a large accountancy firm
- 1–3 years’ experience in M&A preferred (corporate finance, transaction services, or similar transaction-facing experience)
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to get comfortable in the detail of a business quickly
- Highly personable, being comfortable working directly with clients and partners, with strong communication skills and commercial judgement
- Based in Nottingham, with an expectation of working across our business and spending some time in our Birmingham office
