Richard is an experienced M&A adviser with a track record of advising owner-managers and private equity investors on complex and high-profile transactions. He brings sector expertise across technology, healthcare and business services, alongside experience working with high-growth businesses.

At Evolve, Richard leads the firm’s growth across the East Midlands, while also supporting the wider team on sell-side and buy-side transactions.

Richard joined Evolve Corporate Finance as a Partner following almost 12 years at Clearwater, where he advised on a broad range of transactions from £5m fundraise to £140m trade exits across the UK and internationally. During his time there, he worked with owner-managed businesses, institutional investors and corporates.

Earlier in his career, Richard trained with BDO before moving into corporate finance. In 2018, he was awarded Young Dealmaker of the Year at the East Midlands Dealmakers Awards.

Outside of work, Richard is a keen golfer and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
