Evolve Corporate Finance, the independent corporate finance boutique headquartered in Birmingham, has promoted Tom Hammond to partner.
Hammond joined Evolve Corporate Finance in 2024 as a director and is a qualified chartered accountant, having held roles in other corporate finance and accountancy firms in the Midlands, including EY. Since joining the firm, Hammond has played a key role in advising the firm’s clients on several high-profile deals, across a range of industry sectors.
Hammond’s promotion to partner is part of the firm’s wider growth plans as it seeks to expand its senior team and capitalise on a strong pipeline of deals and opportunities. It follows the firm’s relocation to the Arca building on Temple Row, Birmingham City Centre, as it prepares for further growth in 2025 and to recruit new talent.
David Neate, partner, commented: “Tom has had a significant impact on the firm and our clients since joining, and we are delighted to see him move into a more senior role. His expertise on sell and buy side transactions and ability to support clients in securing a positive outcome are exceptional, and he has played a key role in transactions since joining Evolve. Tom’s move into a more senior role strengthens our team further and helps us to continue building our position as one of the go-to M&A advisory firms for owner-managed businesses.”
Tom Hammond, partner, added: “This promotion is a huge achievement for me, and I’m delighted to be part of the partner team at Evolve. The firm is on an exciting journey as we continue to grow our team, capabilities, and brand in the corporate finance advisory space, supporting the owner-managed market, and I’m looking forward to being part of the leadership team as we continue to help our clients secure positive outcomes in their biggest business decisions.”
